Notice 2 small "caves" between the stairs and the main cave where snorkelers are exiting. Smaller one just below and further from the steps is where I suspect that Bo and the other man were holding on. |

Close in zoom shows rope left going beyond first (larger) "cave" over to smaller one used by survivors. Notice rope is cut.
