Hot Tub Modification

Since electricity is so expensive and my poor hot tub was running non-stop to try and stay up to temperature, I knew something had to be done.  So about 300 yen worth of refrigerator liner and some duct tape and it works beautifully.

The tub itself is insulated, but the PVC was not. So I fashioned some insulation around the pipes and heater.

Sure there's a "bit" of duct tape, however it certainly does the job!

Once this insulation was done the tub programmer was able to cycle the tub for the first time. It's nice to just let the programmer run things.
